We believe that art becomes truly alive when people understand its story. At arthene, we bring you original works alongside thoughtful insights into their making, their artists, and their journeys so art feels closer, clearer, and more your own.

The arthene Gallery was founded in 2024 and is based both online and in the heart of German Art Nouveau, Darmstadt, right on the historic market square.
Like many, we searched for our "unique selling point” and we found it. Our strength lies in the joy of engaging with art: in buying and selling, in researching provenance, and in carefully analyzing each work.
